lexiluda asked: hello first of all thank you for existing, youre a huge inspiration to me!! second of all, do you have any drawing exercises that you find particularly helpful, or something that you do every day? b/cuz of my job i sometimes dont have more than an hour or so a day to draw so any tips you have that i could use to make the most of my time would be really appreciated!
I don’t really have any exercises but what is helpful is studying other artists (your inspirations especcially) and ask yourself why they chose to draw what they did. Why did they choose to place a certain body part in a certian position. What did they leave out and why did they do it and vice versa. What were they trying to convey and what is the character feeling. Just go into full out detective mode until something hits you! Then apply whatever information you have gathered into your next piece. Hope that helped :)
