Got Accepted into CalArts!
Yay! :)
Anonymous asked: I've been going through your blog's archives and I look at one picture and think "the movement in this piece makes me think of Jules Fieffer a bit." Then I scroll down and see Phantom Tollbooth fanart! Brilliant! Thanks for sharing your art, it makes me want to pick up a pen and get to it.
Anonymous asked: Do you ever wonder or worry if your future college professors won't like your style?
Anonymous asked: Haha, you sure do love Al Hirschfeld, don't you. Love the work!
Anonymous asked: Your work is astounding, thank you so much for sharing it all & for answering our questions, you're a huge inspiration! If you don't mind me asking, how often do you draw & what are your main sources of inspiration? I need to read more of Mr. Stanchfield's books, he's wonderful. Thank you!
Anonymous asked: What personality and character traits do you feel are the most important to know about your character before putting them into a situation?
worldisart323 asked: Your work is amazing.... I draw myself I have to admit I'm not confident in my work . How did you begin to draw the way you do?
Anonymous asked: Can you show us the portfolio that got you the internship? please? Thanks man, you're awesome.
Anonymous asked: 1. There is no way you are 17 years old! That's a giant lie. Your illustrations are just to good. 2. What type of brush do you use to ink? Thanks. Keep up the amazing work.
My Old Blog
So I was entering my account name into blogspot and I entered my old account/email and I forgot about my original blog. So here is a link to my very first blog, it has the work of what I was doing when I was 15 http://www.sketchds.blogspot.com/.
It definately brings back memories…
40's and 50's
So I had fun with the 80’s designs, now I’m going to move on to another one of my favorite era’s, the 40’s and 50’s. I figured that studying the fashion will help inform my design sense in some way, stay tuned! Also thank you all for your nice comments, I really appreciate them!
Anonymous asked: I totally see Al Hirschfeld and Milt Kahl in your art, but you have an approach all your own! It's amazing to see this in someone so young! Keep it up!
